Say hello to our PA Stylist Anna from Price Attack Orion, Queensland. Anna has been in the hairdressing industry for three years and is also one of our 2018 Shear Talent finalists. For those who don’t know, Shear Talent is our national hair colour and styling competition run for Price Attack Salons. (Anna Pictured right, with her Shear Talent Model)
“I would like to thank Price Attack for putting together the Shear Talent competition. It has helped me step out of my comfort zone and grow as a stylist.”
We took some time with Anna to ask her some questions about what it’s like to be a PA stylist.
What’s your favourite thing about being a PA stylist?
I love the wide range of product and services I can offer my clients. Oh and my work family of course.
If you weren’t a hair dresser what would you be doing right now?
I love all things make and beauty so I would probably want to be in that industry.
Where is your passion? Colourist or stylist?
Defiantly a stylist, I love creating up styles.
What’s your favourite trend at the moment?
I’m loving the rose golds and pink trend that we are seeing in hair at the moment, as well as braids.
If you could take three things to a deserted island what would it be? Why?
- KMS Moist Repair Shampoo and Conditioner, to repair my hair from the elements.
- AG Texture Moisture Mask, to combat dryness. And;
- Matrix Mineral Playback Dry Shampoo because I just can’t live without it.
What do you offer your customers over all other stylists?
Specialising in up styling, I can offer my clients a variety of looks that other's may not be able to. I like to keep on top colour and style trends by researching on social media, watching fashion week and reading magazines in order to be able to provide my clients with a modern, trending style suited to theirs needs and desire's.
What is your number one hair tip?
If you love your hair it will love you back.
What would be one thing that you would pass onto your customers?
I would love the ability to replicate their styles at home.
