All the Hold
"I'm new to AG's product line, so I had to try LIQUID EFFECTS, after seeing the hype. I live in the South, right off the Gulf Coast. Warm humidity isn't my curls' friend. After trying LIQUID EFFECTS w/ RE:COIL, I can honestly say, I'm a believer! This styling lotion holds up to rain & the elements. I still love my hair after day 4. I'm sold & won't turn back. Exactly what I wanted
"So I feel this one is a total keeper for me. My hair is fine, soft, not dry and wavy rather than curly. I apply it damp, it makes perfect curl clumps, it is very much curl-enhancing and gives you quite some time to scrunch your hair before you dry it. It has some hold to it and when scrunched out leaves no trace. Unfortunately this is not enough for my hair, I need a bit more structure, but paired with a hair spray it gave me the best hair styles of recent days. Only one downside: it takes quite long to dry, but not as long as a custard or helly for example"

Hands Down the Best Curl Product on the Market
"I've tried 100 or more and this is the only product that keeps my course, thick curls defined and frizz-free for multiple days. I get asked almost daily "what do you use for your curls??". I hope they never discontinue this product, it would devastate me and my look. Please please keep this going! I've been using for almost 20 years."

Good product but not as great as the old formula
"This product has been my holy grail for about 20 years. I took a star off because the formula was changed, and I find that the new one doesn't give my hair the same amount of hold that the old one did -- it's enough of a change that I've been devastated ever since the switch. Nonetheless, the product is still good, which is why I didn't rate it lower. I actually still have about a quarter of a bottle left of the old formula and I am dreading the day that I finish it. I can't help but wonder what they did with all of their leftover inventory because I would've bought them all 🤣"
