Nice but leaves tangles

I used this with the matching shampoo. The first few washes were good then the conditioner started being difficult to get the tangles out of my hair whilst conditioning. I finger combed, added more conditioner etc but it left tangles and was difficult to wash out. After 3 months of use my hair has lots of tangles when dry now. I've stopped using it.
